The Finpart case closes for Fabio Arpe, former CEO of Abaxbank, and Piero Modiano, former deputy general manager of Unicredit and managing director of Unicredit Banca Mobiliare (Ubm).

The judge for the preliminary hearings of the Court of Milan, Elisabetta Meyer, has ordered the closure of the line of inquiry. The two managers were under investigation in relation to the bankruptcy of the group active in the fashion sector. The investigating judge justified his decision with the absence of elements suitable to support the accusation in court.

The positions of Fausto Galmarini (former credit director of Piazza Cordusio), Lorenzo Stanca (now a partner of Mandarin Capital Partners), Davide Mereghetti and Luca Fornoni (still at the top of Unicredit) have also been archived.
