Finmeccanica and Hitachi have "positively" concluded the checks on the contractual conditions for the sale of Ansaldo Sts and AnsaldoBreda by the Italian group to the Japanese one.
Therefore, explains a note, it will be possible to "also proceed with the closing" of the sale of the "shareholding, equal to approximately 40%, in Ansaldo STS in the overall context of valorisation of the transport sector".
Furthermore, the Ansaldo Sts shareholders' meeting will be able to resolve, on 2 November in second call, on the items on the agenda.
