Finmeccanica, Moretti: "Turning point in the next three years"

“In the next three years there will be major changes”, including “significant cost reductions: we will do more with fewer resources, using them in the best way”. She said it today Mauro Moretti, CEO Finmeccanica, presenting the new to analysts business plan.

At the moment there are no margins for a dividend policy, but “we are working to create them in the future – added the manager -, so as to satisfy the shareholders. The one approved yesterday by the Board of Directors is a serious industrial plan: we want to be competitive in international markets and create value for shareholders, generating resources for development".

Moretti explained that there will be “a change in the organization and structure of the group, with a focus on things that can be better controlled. So far we have focused on too many products, too many production lines", for this reason it is necessary to select the activities, looking at those that "can guarantee a return".

At the beginning of the afternoon, in the wake of the new plan, the Finmeccanica share on the Stock Exchange gained 2,9%, 9,285 euro, scoring the best rise in the Ftse Mib.
