“We have separate negotiations for Ansaldo Breda and Ansaldo Sts: at the moment there are only offers for one offer for Ansaldo Breda: our advisors have invited Hitachi and Cnr-Insigma to make binding offers by the end of the month, then it is likely that they will ask us for some extra day". These are the words of Finmeccanica CEO Mauro Moretti, speaking on the sidelines of the Asia-Europe Business Forum.
Moretti therefore hinted that the deadline for binding offers for the sale of Ansaldo Breda could be postponed by a few days, and also denied that Consob had asked for details on the company's debt and dividend policy. In a few days, on 5 November, Finmeccanica will present the accounts for the third quarter: "We'll see, but there's no relief from Consob".
In the early afternoon the Finmeccanica stock, on a dramatic day for Piazza Affari, is no exception: the share loses more than 2,3% a 6,44 euro.
