As expected, the board of directors of Finmeccanica, a leading public group in defense and aerospace, has appointed a new general manager who, starting next January XNUMXst, will take over part of the tasks previously assigned to number one Alessandro Pansa, who from now on he will be able to concentrate more freely on his role as managing director.
The new general manager is Sergio De Luca, until now the managing director of Ansaldo Sts, who has always been close to Pansa and is also highly esteemed by the shareholder Tesoro.
This appointment, although it has been aired for some time, suggests a boost in the sale process of Ansaldo Sts, the jewel of Italian transport technology, which affects both General Electric and the CDP strategic fund.
Finally, the Finmeccanica board of directors designated De Luca's replacement at the helm of Ansaldo Sts, who will be Stefano Siragusa.
