Finmeccanica, Guarguaglini under investigation by the Rome prosecutor's office

For the president of the group, confirmed in recent months but deprived of the role of CEO, the suspicions of the investigation that started in 2010 materialize: the hypothesis against him is tax fraud and false invoices. The entrepreneur Cola accuses him: he paid commissions with black money from ENAV procurement funds.

Finmeccanica, Guarguaglini under investigation by the Rome prosecutor's office

The president of Finmeccanica, Pier Francesco Guarguaglini, is being investigated by the Rome prosecutor's office for tax fraud and false invoicing as part of the investigation into alleged black funds in the aeronautical and defense holding company. The consultant Lorenzo Cola, the head of external relations Lorenzo Borgogni, the accountant Marco Iannilli and the entrepreneur Tommaso Di Lernia also ended up in the register of suspects. The registration dates back to the first months of the year but evidence of it was only yesterday with the notification to the suspects of the extension of the investigation granted to the prosecution by the investigating judge of Rome.

In recent months, it was Cola, collaborating with the prosecutors, who told of his role as mediator in the acquisition of Drs Technologies in 2008, in which he managed to obtain a commission from Guarguaglini that exceeded 8 million euros. Part of the money was handed over to him illegally by exploiting the false invoicing system that Selex offered to Di Lernia's Print System in the subcontracting concessions of the tenders won with Enav. The hypothesis is that Guarguaglini collaborated with his wife Marina Grossi, already under investigation for corruption, in the management of the group's black funds for the acquisition of Enav contracts.
