The orders come from 14 different customers and represent a 20% increase over the previous year. For over five years - explains a note - ATR has recorded around 85% of the sales of aircraft with fewer than 90 seats in Latin America and in the developing countries of South East Asia, confirming the interest of regional airlines in the development of short-range networks. The order backlog at the end of December had an estimated value of 5,3 billion dollars sufficient to guarantee about three years of production.

In 2013, ATR confirmed Global Maintenance Agreements (GMA) with fifteen airlines worldwide, covering a total of 164 aircraft worth $330 million. To date, approximately 30% of ATR aircraft in service worldwide are covered by GMA contracts signed between the airlines and the company
