The helicopter company of the Finmeccanica group would be on the verge of signing a 400 million contract with the British Defense Minister for the conversion of 25 Royal Air Force aircraft.
AgustaWestland is said to be about to sign a 400 million euro contract with the British Ministry of Defence. According to some rumors, in fact, the helicopter company of the Finmeccanica group would have obtained an order for the conversion of 25 AW101 "Merlin".
The helicopters in question, currently in use by the Royal Air Force, will be destined for the Royal Navy after the conversion to the British Navy.
