The month of December closed with the highest data on funding in December, marking an increase of 119% compared to the same month in 2019 - In 2020 funding reached 9,283 billion (+59%)

Fineco: €1,6 billion in funding in December, the highest ever

A December to be framed for Finecobank which closed 2020 by registering the highest collection figure ever. In fact, last month ended with one net deposits of 1,582 billion euros, up 119% compared to 721,4 billion in December 2019. A result achieved, the bank underlines, "without resorting to short-term commercial policies". 

With the record reached in December, 2020 ended with one for Finecobank total net funding of 9,283 billion, up 59% compared to 5,84 billion in 2019. The contribution provided by the managed component, which reached 4,295 billion (+31% from 3,272 billion a year ago), should be underlined.

Going into details, it is also in December the managed component to excel, recording a new all-time high of 791,1 million euro, up 63% from 484,5 million in December 2019. The administered component instead stood at 85,6 million (from -206,9 million) , while direct deposits amounted to 706 million (from 443,8 million). “The structural growth of the brokerage, supported by the review of the offer and expansion of the base of clients active on the platform, has seen estimated revenues for December rise to around 16,5 million (+54%). From the beginning of 2020, estimated revenues are around 229 million (+73%)”, underlines Finecobank.

During the year, 46,8 million orders were executed (+85% compared to 25,3 million in 2019). "December's extremely robust funding figure, the highest in Fineco's history, is even more significant in light of the acceleration recorded by the managed component in the last few months of the year", said Fineco's Chief Executive Officer and General Manager Alessandro Foti, underlining that “2020 closes with a particularly positive result for the brokerage, which has improved its revenues in every single month, highlighting the increase in the customer base interested in investing.

The data published today was also appreciated by investors in Piazza Affari. In the morning the title Fineco gains 1% to 13,745 euros against a 0,4% drop in the Ftse Mib.
