FinDynamic, here is sustainable dynamic discounting

The tool allows lead-chain client companies to financially support their suppliers, through the advance payment of invoices at discount rates lower than the market average, and to communicate this with an ethical claim validated by Bureau Veritas Italia.

FinDynamic, here is sustainable dynamic discounting

FinDynamic, the first Italian fintech company dedicated to the Dynamic Discounting service through an online platform for the advance payment of supplier invoices by leading companies, announces the launch of first sustainable dynamic discounting programmeIn partnership with LifeGate as media partner of the initiative. Companies that will use sustainable dynamic discounting will be able to declare their commitment to support the supply chain, with a claim validated by Bureau Veritas in accordance with the ISO/TS 17033 standard.

The program of sustainable dynamic discounting requires the leading company to make its financial capacity available to the smaller or more virtuous suppliers, offering them the advance payment of invoices a rates below the market average. An instrument capable of supporting the production chain, especially in the current context of the liquidity crisis linked to the global health emergency.

"FinDynamic wants to offer a service that is increasingly capable of transforming the relationship between customers and suppliers into an authentic partnership, positioning itself as a true ally for SMEs - said Enrico Viganò, CEO and founder of FinDynamic – We have been thinking for some time about a system that encourages sustainable development in the area of liquidity management. But when the global health emergency exploded, it was our customers who asked us with ever greater insistence. The big companies saw the problem in advance because any crisis has repercussions on the supply chain".

Thanks to Bureau Veritas, world leader in inspection, conformity verification and certification services, the leading companies will also be able to certify their commitment, through the validation and subsequent verification of their Ethical Claim, which is the new tool that ISO has developed to allow companies to communicate correctly on sustainability issues, regulating the formulation of any type of statement regarding the social or environmental characteristics of a product or an initiative.

In particular, as part of the sustainable dynamic discounting programme, the leading companies in the supply chain will be able to use two different types of claims: with the first the company will be able to publicly state that support SME suppliers financially, with the second instead he can declare to reward suppliers who meet certain sustainability criteria; in both cases through the advance settlement of invoices at more favorable conditions than the market average.

“The validation of the claims by Bureau Veritas - in its capacity as an independent third party body - strengthens the credibility of the communications that FinDynamic's customers will address to the market. After the launch of the programme, Bureau Veritas will verify that the claims are consistent with the commitments made and the results expected, as a guarantee for all stakeholders. Never before has support for the supply chain represented an essential element of social responsibility for the relaunch of our economy”. declares Diego D'Amato, Country Chief Executive Bureau Veritas Italia.

The collaboration with LifeGate, a benefit company which with its media channels and a community of over 5 million people is the point of reference in Italy on the subject of sustainability, allows client companies to promote the Sustainable Dynamic Discounting program through personalized communication campaigns, through channels dedicated to the theme of sustainability.

“We have been dealing with sustainability for twenty years and we find in this project a social and economic approach that reflects the model of sustainable development – the comment by Enea Roveda, CEO of LifeGate – today more than ever the restart cannot be separated from a responsible approach towards people and growth”.

Thanks to the partnership with Unicredit, one of the first FinDynamic customers to have launched the Sustainable Dynamic Discounting program is the Arena group, leader of large-scale retail trade in Southern Italy, with the aim of offering a service that can effectively support suppliers, also alleviating any financial tensions related to the contingency.
