Findim, exposed to Consob: verify Telecom's control over Telco

"Assessing the existence of a de facto control relationship between Telco and Telecom Italia". Marco Fossati's Findim, which owns 5% of the telecommunications group, asks for it in a complaint to Consob, arguing that Telecom Italia's latest financial statements "cannot be considered compliant with the rules governing the drafting criteria".

As a result of this assessment, Findim asks Consob to "order the board of directors of Telecom Italia and Telco to provide the necessary clarifications so that the market has correct and complete information on the existing control relationship" between Telco and Telecom " with all consequences regarding the legal obligations connected to the existence of this relationship”.

More generally, Findim asks to "ascertain the incorrectness of the information made available to the public regarding the control structures provided by Telecom Italia and Telco and take any necessary measure aimed at remedying it, if necessary, by exercising the powers of appeal referred to in article 157, paragraph 2, of the TUF”.

In mid-afternoon, the Telecom Italia stock travels just below parity in Piazza Affari, where it loses 0,3% a 0,824 euros, on a positive day for the Ftse Mib which at the same time gains more than 1%.
