Fincantieri announced that it has reached an agreement with Technip Italy, to increase competitiveness starting from the markets of Italy and the Mediterranean Sea in the offshore sector.
In the note released today, the shipbuilding company makes it known that "the areas initially identified to initiate cooperation include the joint development of vessels for the production of oil and gas offshore, such as Fpu (Floating Production Unit) and Frsu (Floating Regasification & Storage Unit)”.
The memorandum of understanding signed today crowns the collaboration already underway between the two companies and also provides for the establishment of a coordination mechanism between the groups to direct a common network of business development activities.
