Green light from the Fincantieri shareholders' meeting for the 2017 financial statements, filed with a net profit of 119,3 million.
Ok from the shareholders also to the distribution of a dividend equal to 1 cent per share for a total value of approximately 16,9 million euros. The coupon will be detached on May 21st, with payment expected on May 23rd. Fincantieri therefore joins the numerous companies - most of which are members of the Ftse Mib - which on Monday 21st are remunerating their investors for a total amount of 13 billion euros.
Returning to the meeting, the shareholders of the Italian naval giant authorized the company to purchase, and subsequently dispose of, treasury shares for a period of 18 months and a maximum amount of shares not exceeding one fifth of the share capital.
Finally, authorized "the issuance of a maximum of 25.000.000 ordinary shares with no par value, having the same characteristics as outstanding ordinary shares, to service the 2019-2021 Performance Share Plan, to be attributed to the management of the Company and/or its subsidiaries ”, informs Fincantieri through a note.
At Piazza Affari, the Fincantieri share dropped 0,4% to 1,378 euros.
