The order acquired by Fincantieri in the first half of 2014 for a new ultra-luxury cruise ship is for the client Silversea Cruises. This was revealed in a note by the shipbuilding group that landed on the Stock Exchange exactly one year ago.
For the acquisition of the ship, which will be called “Silver Muse”, Silversea has obtained a funding of $293,5 million by Bnp Paribas Fortis, KfW IPEX-Bank, NORD/LB and UniCredit and guaranteed by Sace, reads a joint note.
"BNP Paribas, Nord/Lb and Sace announce the finalization of an export credit line of 293,5 million dollars in favor of Silversea", explains the press release. “The line of credit, fully guaranteed by Sace, will be disbursed to Silversea for the purchase of a 596-seat, 40.000-ton luxury cruise ship”. Delivery of the new vessel is scheduled for April 2017.
