Fincantieri, profits and debts rise in 2013

The shipbuilding group recorded profits up to 85 million (from 15 million in 2012), an Ebitda of 298 million (137 million in 2012) and revenues to 3,81 billion (2,38 billion) – Last year the position net financial position (positive for 480 million in 2012) was negative for 155 million, taking into account the disbursement for the acquisition of Vard.

Fincantieri adds that the 2013 numbers are also affected by charges extraneous to ordinary and non-recurring management for 80 million. Last year the net financial position – positive for 480 million in 2012 – was negative for 155 million, taking into account the disbursement for the acquisition of Vard. 

As for the orders, came close to five billion, “a marked increase compared to previous years in all the sectors in which the group operates. It follows that at the end of 2013 the group can count on an order portfolio of 12,900 billion. The resulting workload is equal to 8 billion”, concludes Fincantieri.
