ECB loans, Italian banks will ask for 30 billion

To say it is the managing director of Unicredit Federico Ghizzoni regarding the next "Tltro": "I believe that if it will not be 30 billion, it will still be an important figure" – Unicredit will ask for a sum between 5 and 7 billion euros.

About thirty billion euros. This is the total amount of requests from Italian banks foreseen by the managing director of Unicredit Federico Ghizzoni on the occasion of the third tranche of More, the ECB's long-term funds linked to loans disbursed to the real economy: "I believe that if it's not 30 billion, it will still be an important amount".

As for Unicredit, Ghizzoni specified that the sum requested by the institute will be between 5 and 7 billion euros, while Intesa will ask for 10 billion euros. In the two previous tranches, Italian banks had requested 26 and 23,2 billion euros respectively.
