Global Thinking Foundation participates in the tenth edition of the SRI week. Promoted and organized by the Forum for Sustainable Finance, the event is one of the main Italian appointments dedicated to Sustainable and Responsible Investment and will take place from 11 to 25 November 2021. A calendar full of activities, events, conferences and seminars to focus on the field of sustainable finance.
Within this framework, Claudia Segre's foundation offers two events:
- The theatrical show "The wrong choice: Wonder Woman – Work in progress”, by and with Stefania Pascali and directed by Luigi Cilli, will be held on Saturday 13 November from 16:00 to 17:00 at Borsa Italiana – Palazzo Mezzanotte, Piazza Affari 6, Milan. The show, promoted by the Forum for Sustainable Finance and the Hendel Association, tells the story of Stella, a woman who finds herself single and jobless at the age of 36. What strategies will she adopt to get by? Then, the VI Annual Conference of the Global Thinking Foundation "Sustainability and technology for the regeneration of ecosystems.
- "THERE IS NO PLAN[ET] B”, which will take place on Thursday 18 November from 17:30 to 20:00 in live streaming. During the event, the profound change in economic and social models will be analysed, which will make it possible to face the global environmental crisis and to relaunch growth in the world of work and education, as well as in the AI and fintech sector.
"We cannot forget that if human capital returns to the center of new labor policies, this only develops within a plan for sustainability, where natural capital and biodiversity are the protagonists - he declared Claudia Segre, President Global Thinking Foundation -. They ensure the proper functioning of ecosystems and the services they offer us, and on which we humans depend."
Francesco Bicciato, Secretary General of the Sustainable Finance Forum, underlined how this tenth edition can make a concrete contribution to climate action and a just transition process. “The Forum is working to promote a proactive attitude of financial operators in facing environmental and social challenges”, concluded Bicciato.
