Finance, General Bardi investigated: second in command of the corps

Bardi is being investigated for alleged corruption in collateral events to that which ended up at the center of the investigation coordinated by Neapolitan prosecutors Henry John Woodocock and Vincenzo Piscitelli and relating to alleged bribes paid by two entrepreneurs to obtain tame tax audits.

Finance, General Bardi investigated: second in command of the corps

General Vito Bardi, second in command of the Guardia di Finanza, is entered in the register of suspects in the context of the investigation which this morning led to the arrest for extortion of the commander of the Gdf of Livorno, Massimo Mendella. 

Bardi is being investigated, according to what has been learned, for a hypothesis of corruption in collateral events to the one that ended up at the center of the investigation coordinated by the Neapolitan prosecutors Henry John Woodocock and Vincenzo Piscitelli and relating to alleged bribes paid by two entrepreneurs to obtain tax audits tame.

In order to verify the accusatory hypothesis and collect useful material for the investigative investigations, the investigators ordered the search of General Bardi's house and offices.

The General of the Army Corps, Vito Bardi, became second in command of the Guardia di Finanza (in practice, the number two of the Corps) on 5 September 2013.

Bardi took over from Army Corps General Emilio Spaziante, who retired and was arrested on corruption charges in the context of the maxi investigation into the Mose bribes.
