A delegation from ItaliaCamp in the presence of Sergio Mattarella presented a new proposal for Italy, inspired by the principles of impact finance and the results obtained in its first ten years of activity

Impact finance, ItaliaCamp presents new ideas for the country

ItaliaCamp turns ten in November, but the celebrations already began yesterday - 14 May - when one of its delegations was received by the President of the Republic Sergio Mattarella. The organization that develops processes of innovation and social transformation presented a new proposal for the country, entitled Impact Italy.

This project, as stated in the official note of ItaliaCamp, is inspired by the principles of impact finance that enhances the social return, environmental and civic aspects of the investments made, integrating it with traditional economic-financial logics, for the benefit of the community. These are the main reasons behind the new project illustrated at the Quirinale by the ItaliaCamp delegation led by Fabrizio Sammarco and Luigi Mastrobuono, respectively Chief Executive Officer and President of the ItaliaCamp company and by Leo Cisotta and Andrea Chiriatti, President and Vice President of the ItaliaCamp Association.

The implementation of the model described by the association will be entrusted to the Italia Team (ITeam), intergenerational groups of citizens, experts and volunteers, coordinated by ItaliaCamp, who will have the role of developing possible solutions to concrete problems and anticipating future trends in the country for create new models of innovation.

The model will be presented in Rome, in November, during the event in which ItaliaCamp will celebrate its 10 years of activity, confirming its investment in the culture of dialogue and intergenerational confrontation.

During the meeting with the Head of State, together with the new proposal for the country, ItaliaCamp illustrated the results of its activities: 21 million of direct and indirect investments in its territorial hubs which are Milan, Turin, Rome and Brindisi and 67 million of impact generated the best ideas that emerged in the 3 editions of the "Your idea for the country" competition and in the context of the activity of open innovation created for companies and country institutions.
