The recognition given by the magazines 'The Banker' and 'Professional Wealth Management' was delivered in Geneva.

Financial Times: UniCredit Private Banking awarded as “Best Private Bank in Italy”

UniCredit Private Banking was recognized as the best Private Banking company in Italy by the specialized publications 'The Banker' and 'Professional Wealth Management' of the Financial Times Group. The prize was awarded by an international jury of experts (journalists, auditors, consultants and asset managers from the United States, Asia and Europe) for the significant growth in profits, achieved by maintaining an optimal ratio between the number of bankers and that of clients.

The rigorous investment selection process and business development plans in segments such as that of entrepreneurial families, on whose businesses it is carried out annually - in collaboration with Bocconi University and the Italian Association of Companies of Family – the AUB Observatory, which caught the attention of the judges.

Strengthened by its widespread presence throughout Italy, UniCredit Private Banking has demonstrated its ability to make top-level advisory services available to customers, with a particular focus on entrepreneurs and their families, leveraging over 800 bankers and 100 specialists. UniCredit Private Banking relies on a strategic partnership with a small number of leading global investment houses to offer its customers a wide range of financial products; UniCredit's preferred partners are subjected to a strict and systematic selection and monitoring process, which is also subject to certification by the international consultancy firm Mercer.

Furthermore, in 2013 UniCredit Private Banking fueled its innovative drive with UniCredit Green, a capital-guaranteed asset management company that invests in the ETFs of the world leader in the sector; it also launched Life Income, an insurance solution developed with Allianz, aimed at supplementing income.

The presentation of the awards, which took place yesterday at the Kempinski Hotel in Geneva at the hands of the Directorate of magazines of the Financial Times and the management of the British publishing group (www.privatebankingawards.com), saw the parade of the top management of the main international financial companies involved in the respective categories. “We are very proud to have been recognized as the best operator in Italy in the Private Banking sector – said Dario Prunotto, head of the Italian network of UniCredit Private Banking.
