Fideuram offers customers the Apple Pay service

Fideuram – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking, the private bank 100% controlled by Intesa Sanpaolo and first in Italy in its sector for assets under management (with 229,2 billion euro) makes Apple Pay available to its customers. The main features of the new service are security and privacy: when you use a debit or credit card with Apple Pay, in fact, the card number is never stored, neither on the device, nor on Apple's servers. Instead, a unique identification number is assigned, encrypted and stored securely in the secure element of your device. Each transaction is therefore authorized with a single dynamic protection code, which changes from time to time.

“With the full availability of Apple Pay – he commented Paolo Molesini, Chief Executive Officer of Fideuram – Intesa Sanpaolo Private Banking – we are happy to be able to offer our customers a secure, easy and confidential digital payment system. The goal of our Division is to offer a complete financial and asset advisory service, capable of responding to every need of a particularly sophisticated clientele. Strengthened by our traditional skills, based on relationships, we also believe in the enormous potential of new technologies, which is why we select and offer the most innovative digital solutions for the benefit of the customers who have chosen us".

Apple Pay is also easy to set up and user continues to maintain all the advantages and benefits offered by its debit and credit cards. Customers can pay with Apple Pay using iPhone and Apple Watch in shops, restaurants, taxis, vending machines and many other establishments. For in-app purchases or on the web via Safari with Apple Pay, there's no need to fill out lengthy forms or repeatedly type in shipping, delivery and billing information. Every purchase through Apple Pay is authenticated by facial or touch recognition with Face ID or Touch ID, or the device code.
