The main features of the new service are security and privacy: when you use a debit or credit card with Apple Pay, in fact, the card number is never stored, neither on the device, nor on Apple's servers. Instead, a unique identification number is assigned, encrypted and stored securely in the secure element of your device. Each transaction is therefore authorized with a single dynamic protection code, which changes from time to time.

Every purchase through Apple Pay is authenticated by facial or touch recognition with Face ID or Touch ID, or the device code.
