Develop optical fiber in Italy and reduce the digital divide. It is the goal of new agreement co-investment between FiberCop – infrastructure operator of the Tim group – and Springo – internet provider operating in the north-east. This agreement will make it possible to develop the access market Fiber to the Home (fiber to home) in line with the FiberCop investment plan which will ensure coverage of 75% of the country's gray and black areas by 2025.

In particular, Springo will use the secondary fiber optic access network up to the homes of the Tim group company to develop the FTTH access market in the municipalities of: Belluno, Conegliano, Montebelluna, Feltre, Cortina d'Ampezzo. Thanks to the investee company Ultra Fibre, of which Springo is the infrastructure operator, the agreement will also be extended to other municipalities throughout Italy.

This is the first accession to the co-investment offer in the northern area of ​​the country, in the context of TLC providers operating at a local level, and follows that of other important operators. So as to reduce the digital divide and allow local households and businesses to choose ultra-broadband connections with speeds exceeding 1 Gigabit per second.
