Optical fiber in Anzio: over 5 units ready to navigate with Open Fiber, the ultra-fast connection

There are over 5 thousand real estate units of Anzio ready to surf the web benefiting from a connection speed up to 10 Gigabits per second license plate Open Fiber. The goal is to reach 17 homes, shops and offices included in the cabling plan in FTTH (Fiber To The Home) mode thanks to around 10 kilometers of optical fiber. A few months after the start of the construction sites, which started last February, a large part of the historic centre, the Europa Quarter and the Santa Teresa area are already covered by the ultra-broadband service.

Thanks to a investment of 8 million euros, Open Fiber is building a new cutting-edge network in the Tyrrhenian city capable of enabling a secure, ultra-fast and "future-proof" connection. With the opening of the market, Anzio reaches the other Lazio cities already covered by Open Fiber with its own funds: Rome, Latina, Rieti, Viterbo, Aprilia, Cassino, Ciampino, Civitavecchia, Fiumicino, Guidonia Montecelio, Pomezia and Tivoli. There are currently 750 real estate units served by the group's innovative ultra-broadband telecommunications infrastructure.

Open Fiber recalls in a note that the wiring of the buildings is free and for the use of the condominium, with the consequent advantages in terms of economic evaluation of the property and commercial attractiveness guaranteed by the presence of ultra-broadband connectivity.
