Fibercop confirms Massimo Sarmi as CEO until 2027

Massimo Sarmi, President and Interim CEO of fibercop after the resignation of Luigi Ferraris, remains head of the company until the financial meeting of the telecommunications network company in May 2027. This is anything but a temporary assignment. In these weeks of interregnum, Sarmi has consolidated his position and will therefore remain not only president but also CEO of Fibercop for another two years. The search for Ferraris' successor is thus over before it even begins. This was decided by the Board of Directors of the company born from the spin-off of the network from Tim and controlled by an American fund KKR and from mef. The Board of Directors believes that Sarmi can guarantee “stability and business success”. The board also examined the company's performance and stated that “all target both of an economic nature and of the widespread development of the fibre optic network in the country have been achieved”.
