Fiat: Chrysler sales in the USA +11%, best July since 2006

Last month, the Detroit-based company recorded an 11% increase in sales in the US and thus reaches 40 consecutive months of sales growth – Good debut of the new 500L.

Chrysler ended July with US sales up 11% to 140.102 units. This was announced by the Fiat group company, explaining that the one just ended represents the best July in seven years in terms of sales. The Chrysler Group thus achieves 40 consecutive months of annual sales growth.

Good performance for the Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck and Fiat brands, which recorded year-on-year sales increases. “We continue to record strong sales, especially for our pickups and SUVs – said Reid Bigland, head of sales in the USA – plus the new Fiat 500L has made a great start, with 962 cars already sold in the first month”.
