Fiat: Chrysler IPO will not be in 2013

The Turin company that controls the Detroit group also expects that "Chrysler Group will continue to work to take the necessary steps to allow the launch of an offer in the first quarter of 2014", but specifies that "it is not possible to ensure if and when an offer will be launched”.

The Board of Chrysler, after having consulted with the possible subscribers of the IPO and with its own legal advisers, “he considered launching and completing a public offering before the end of 2013 is not feasible”. This was communicated by Fiat, underlining that the Lingotto "continues to support the efforts that Chrysler Group is making in order to fulfill its contractual obligations towards Veba".
