Fiat Industrial, Elkann: "We don't want to avoid taxes in Italy"

Fiat pays taxes in the countries where it makes profits. The rumors of the last few days related to a possible transfer of the tax headquarters of Fiat Industrial to Great Britain or Holland in order to no longer pay taxes in Italy "are controversy and not reality". This was specified by the president of the Fiat group, John Elkann, on the sidelines of a conference.

“We have activities all over the world – explained Elkann – and where we do well, where we earn, make profits and pay taxes. No one has ever wanted to avoid paying taxes in Italy”.
