The actions of the newco which will arise from the merger of Fiat Industrial and Cnh will be listed both in New York and in Milan. This was communicated by the Lingotto industrial vehicle company, also announcing that the shareholders' meeting has been called for 9 July. On that date the shareholders will give the go-ahead for the merger with the US subsidiary and the Dutch company FI CBM Holdings will be born. In the wake of this news, the Fiat Industrial share gained 1,3% in Piazza Affari in mid-morning.
Exor, the holding company of the Agnelli family, has already announced that it will vote in favor of the merger. On 23 July when the CNH shareholders' meeting will meet, which will in turn vote in favor of the merger.
As part of the transaction, Fiat Industrial shareholders will receive one common share of the newco for each common share of Fiat Industrial owned, while CNH shareholders will receive 3,828 shares of the newco for each common share of CNH owned.
