According to the New York Post, the deal is worth two billion dollars and would make the Nutella-related brand the third largest producer of confectionery in the United States after Hershey's and Mars.

Ferrero enters the US market more and more. After the opening of first restaurant entirely dedicated to Nutella in Chicago, last summer, the Piedmontese group is now in the process, according to reports from the US newspaper The New York Post, of acquire Nestlé chocolate bars in the US market

The New York Post in giving the news cites some sources, according to which Ferrero would pay $2 billion to acquire Nestlé brands including Crunch and Butterfinger. If the acquisition goes through, Ferrero will become the third largest confectionery maker in the United States after Hershey's and Mars.
