Ferrari restarts: Modena and Maranello at full speed

Ferrari back to normal, or almost. The house of the Cavallino announced on Friday that, during the week, car production gradually returned to full capacity in the factories of Maranello and Modena. Obviously, the operations have not restarted as usual, but in compliance with the anti-contagion rules. For this purpose, Ferrari has launched a health safety plan called "Back on Track".

Under the new protocol, Ferrari allows employees (and their family members) to take blood tests in order to rule out having been infected with the coronavirus. The staff will also be equipped with an app that will allow them to keep any symptoms of Covid-19 infection under control and to track their movements. Finally, Ferrari will guarantee any workers infected with Covid-19 suitable accommodation for self-isolation, complete with medical assistance and supplies of oxygen and medicines.

As for the restart of production, the first car to leave the "Serie speciali" lines of the Cavallino factories after seven weeks of suspension of work was a Ferrari Monza SP2 with black and gray livery, the company says.

In the following days, the 12 and 8-cylinder lines also resumed full operation: among the first cars produced in the post-lockdown recovery, in fact, there were also a Gts gray 812 Gts spider and a racing red F8 Tributo. . The three models are now ready to be delivered to their owners: orders have arrived from the United States, Australia and Germany respectively.

Meanwhile, about two hours after the markets close, Ferrari's share on the Stock Exchange gains 0,8%, to 146,80 euros per share (but in the same minutes the Ftse Mib rises by 1,2%). On average for the last month, the Cavallino scored a rise of 7,66%.
