The new F138, the 59th single-seater entered in the F1 world championship, was presented this morning in the Ferrari tensile structure in Maranello. The presentation also took place in streaming and on the web.

Stefano Domenicali, the manager of the team, urged by the communication director Stefano Lai, said that "what we have won is the starting point for taking up the sporting challenge again this year, to feed our history and increase the numbers just seen on the screen". Then the F138 was unveiled. “The fundamental objective – continued Domenicali – is to immediately provide a competitive car. Unfortunately last year we suffered from the winter, and we weren't immediately competitive. Now let's try to be much more effective in preparation and already in Australia to have a car capable of exalting our drivers".

Double title goal: Felipe Massa he says it when presenting the F138, which he will make its debut at Jerez. “I hope to bring the two titles to Ferrari, that's the only thing we want“. "We hope for a competitive championship from start to finish, because only half doesn't count", continued Massa, during the presentation of the F138, returning to his two-faced season last year: disappointing in the first part, clearly recovering in the second. "I'm ready and energized, I'm training every day", said Massa, who will get into the car for the first tests of the new car at Jerez: "The second part of the championship has been one of continuous growth and evolution".

“I think it will be impossible this year for there to be seven different winners like last year in the first seven races”. Word of Fernando Alonso, who presenting the F138, foresees a fight between “maximum two or three teams. One of these must absolutely be Ferrari”. "We have total trust between us, each teammate is an extension: we are one person", added Alonso, who will only get on the new car in Barcelona but, he assured, will carefully follow every indication that will arrive from the first Jerez test.

Luca di Montezemolo, moved, he thanked Gianni Agnelli and the Drake. "It is thanks to them, to the lawyer and the founder of Maranello, if Ferrari is strong". In a video broadcast before his speech, the two protagonists of the Cavallino story were together. “Ferrari exports 95% of its products – recalled Montezemolo – and is present in 70 markets. But we are above all proud of our roots, of Emilia. Ferrari is a large part of the excellence of our country, we are proud of it”.

“It's always a thrill to see a new car. Beautiful, ugly… the important thing is that it goes well”. This is the wish of Luca di Montezemolo, paraphrasing the founder, Enzo Ferrari.

Do you think it would be useful for Ferrari to have Fernando Alonso and Sebastian Vettel together? "I think not, absolutely not", was the curt response of the president of the Maranello company Luca di Montezemolo to the question, a catchphrase of the last few months in Formula 1
