Ferrari and Porsche, the eagerly awaited cars on display in Los Angeles

Christie's announces his collaboration with Gooding & Company, the internationally celebrated auction house acclaimed for selling some of the world's most important and valuable collectable automobiles, in a joint exhibition at Christie's Los Angeles July 18-20.

Highly anticipated 250 Ferrari 1958 GT Tour de France Berlinetta (estimate: $5.500.000 – $6.000.000). Long one of the most sought-after GT racing cars of the 50s, with only 78 examples produced, Chassis 0903 GT is the fourth of only 36 single-seater Tour de France Berlinettes built. Delivered new in Sweden, this Tour de France was initially owned by two Swedish riders: first the well-known ace rider Sture Nottorp and later Kjell Lundberg. After staying in Sweden for decades, the TdF came to the United States. Its current owner undertook a full, competition-quality restoration in 2012 by award-winning specialist Ferrari Motion Products Inc. This TdF is finished in a gray and red livery, complemented by a beautiful light gray leather interior highlighted by special mounted Heuer chronometers. Unique rally dashboard in dash with wrinkle finish.

It will also be a 911 Porsche 1991, reimagined by Singer, on display (estimate: $800.000 – $1.000.000). This beautiful air-cooled 911 – known as “the Mountain View Car” – underwent a truly unique and bespoke commission by renowned Singer Vehicle Design in 2016 for a prominent Porsche collector. This truly unique, bespoke Porsche features a stunning Downton Blue finish with a tobacco brown leather interior and was built with a light-weight ethos that makes it an exceptional driver's machine.

Gooding & Company will also soon announce a third car to be included in the preview at Christie's Los Angeles.

"We are delighted to join our friends at Christie's in their Los Angeles flagship gallery to bring together our West Coast clientele for this special exhibition,” said David Gooding, president and founder of Gooding & Company. “Both Gooding & Company and Christie's recognize that today's collectors have interests that go beyond a single category. Our buyers are constantly looking for items of unmatched quality, whether it's an automobile, a painting or a jewel. Bringing these exceptional cars together with Christie's luxury private sale estate is an exciting opportunity to reach new customers across collectible categories and is emblematic of the global market demand for collectible automobiles.”
