Ferragamo: thud in the stock market after the accounts

A day of passion in Piazza Affari for the stock of Salvatore Ferragamo, which collapsed by 5% in mid-morning, to 26,86 euros per share. This is the worst performance of the Ftse Mib.

The sales were triggered by the publication of the 2016 results. Kepler Cheuvreux's analysts judged the accounts disappointing, lowering the judgment on the stock from buy to hold (target price stable at 29 euros).

Salvatore Ferragamo closed 2016 with revenues of 1.438 million euros (+1% compared to 1.430 million in 2015) and an Ebitda of 324 million euros (stable).

The net result attributable to the group amounted to 202 million euro, +17% compared to 173 million in the previous year.

"The net profit reported in 2016 includes the benefits, cumulative for 2015 and 2016, relating to the agreement reached on the Patent Box", reads the note released by the company.

The BoD has proposed maintaining the dividend at 0,46 euro. Net financial debt went from 10 million at the end of 2015 to 8 million.
