Ferragamo, new earthquake at the top: via the CEO Poletto

New earthquake at the top of Salvatore Ferragamo after the torments that have hit the Florentine maison on the markets in recent times and after the upheavals that have occurred in previous years.

After only two years and on the eve of the presentation of the 2017 accounts, the CEO Eraldo Poletto yesterday communicated his decision to leave.

Poletto's announcement was not entirely unexpected, given the tribulations of the company which has been suffering for some time on the Stock Exchange, where it has lost 14% in the last 12 months, and which reports a 2017 drop in 3,15 turnover. The official note speaks of a decision taken "in full harmony" between the parties but it is no mystery that the Ferragamo family was disappointed by the CEO and expected a relaunch of the Florentine house that has not been seen and therefore Poletto has inevitably I deal with the consequences, having failed to get the company back on track.

Poletto's resignation will take effect on 8 March, the day of the official presentation of the final accounts for the 2017 financial year. Now Ferragamo, which has its second market in China but is also strongly present in the USA as well as obviously on the domestic and European, will have to find a new helmsman but for now 2018 promises to be problematic as well.
