Ferragamo opens four stores in China. Stable title on the Stock Exchange

The Florentine maison has consolidated its presence in China, where it has been present since 1994 and has a total of 55 stores in the retail channel: this year it opened four single-brand stores, two in Shanghai, one in Dalian and one in Wuxi.

Salvatore Ferragamo plays poker in China. From April to today, the made in Italy luxury brand has inaugurated four new stores in Mainland China, respectively two in Shanghai, one in Dalian, one in Wuxi. In Shanghai, the Florentine fashion house has consolidated its presence with the opening of the third and fourth flagship stores, located respectively in L'Avenue, the center of luxury in the new residential area near Hongqiao, and in Times Square, on the Huaihai Lu shopping street The Group also continued its presence and territorial expansion with the construction of two new stores in two different Tier 2 cities.

In Wuxi, one of the oldest Chinese cities in the country located on the Blue River, Salvatore Ferragamo has opened the first single-brand boutique at Center 66, a brand new shopping mall dedicated to luxury brands, while in Dalian, a historic port and one of the most evocative cities in the Northeast, the new store has found space in Dalian Times Square, the most exclusive shopping center in the city. Also in the Travel Retail Channel, the Salvatore Ferragamo Group has continued its process of opening new stores in the airports of Shanghai Hongqiao, Hangzhou, Shenyang and in the brand new Shenzhen airport designed by the Italian starchitect Massimiliano Fuksas.

Ferragamo has been present in Mainland China since 1994 and currently has 55 stores in the retail channel and 20 doors in the Travel Retail channel. In fact, the news does not warm up the markets much: at the beginning of the afternoon, the Salvatore Ferragamo share was practically stable in Piazza Affari where it lost 0,3% to 28,17 euros, compared to 28,2 for the opening session.
