Fernando Alonso has asked for 35 million a year: a renewal of 105 million euros until 2019

The F1 driver in force at the Maranello team would have asked for a mind-boggling renewal to stay at Ferrari. 105 million up to 2019, divided by 35 million per year – between now and 2016 the Spanish champion should have earned 18, so he would almost receive a doubling. This was reported by the German newspaper Bild.

Fernando Alonso has asked for 35 million a year: a renewal of 105 million euros until 2019

The German newspaper Bild reveals the conditions for the renewal of Fernando Alonso's contract at Ferrari. To stay in Maranello, the Spanish champion would have asked for a mind-boggling sum: 105 million euros until 2019, or 35 million a year which would almost double the 18 he receives in the current contract valid until 2016.

The pilot from Oviedo, if these rumors were confirmed, would become one of the highest paid sportsmen in the world. With his 35 million a year he would surpass superstars of the caliber of Michael Shumacher (at the time of his last engagement at Ferrari) who earned 25 million in Maranello, but also the champion Roger Federer (32 million), and the highly paid players of the NBA Kobe Bryant (36 million) and Lebron James (32 million).
