Intesa-FederlegnoArredo: agreement to support businesses

Agreement between Intesa Sanpaolo and FederlegnoArredo. The agreement aims to support the member companies and the entire supply chain for the interventions envisaged in the ambit of the Super bonus and the other tax incentives linked to the real estate system introduced by the Relaunch Decree.

Thanks to this agreement, the companies in the FederlegnoArredo system will be able to count on a package of solutions designed to support companies in the execution phase of the works, with particular attention to companies that have adhered to the SALE Protocol promoted by FederlegnoArredo, and make the tax credits liquid acquired through the discount on the invoice.

"In this way - reads the note - it will be possible to allow the entire construction chain to immediately have the necessary liquidity also to open construction sites". One of the main objectives of the agreement is in fact to stimulate the sustainable real estate market, favoring building models that can contribute to storing CO2, thanks to theuse of wood, a low-impact building material. "1 cubic m3 of wood is in fact capable of "sequestering" 1 ton of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere", underlines the note.

For Stephen Barrese, head of the Intesa Sanpaolo Banca dei Territori Division, the agreement "further consolidates the collaboration with the association that began two years ago on the occasion of the serious calamitous events that had hit the regions of north-east Italy and subsequently strengthened with the ceiling of 1 billion euros to promote innovation and circular economy processes".

“In this delicate phase of economic recovery – continued the manager – our priority, as the leading bank in the country, is to always favor credit and, in this, initiatives with trade associations are fundamental. Furthermore, attention to the issue of sustainable development will also be a crucial step for the relaunch of SMEs which are oriented towards improvement in the social and governance sphere from an ESG perspective".
