Stanley Fischer, former number one of the central bank of Israel and deputy director of the International Monetary Fund, will be the vice president of the Federal Reserve, led since February by Janet Yellen.
The nomination by US President Barack Obama will soon arrive, who is apparently betting on Jerome Powell for a second term on the Fed board together with a new entry, Lael Brainard. With these appointments, the board of the US central bank would be complete in all its composition.
