FCA: best June since 2006 in the USA, record sales also in France

The Italian-American group reaches the 63rd consecutive month of sales increases in the United States in June: Chrysler and Jeep fly, Fiat brand down – The group beats the market and other competitors in France: registrations +22,8% ( PSA Peugeot +16,4%).

Record-breaking June for the FCA group in the United States and France. In the United States FCA Us, which also includes the older Chrysler Group brand, recorded an 8% increase in registrations to 185.035 units, from 171.086 in the same period last year, marking best June since 2006 and 63rd consecutive month of sales increases. This was communicated by the company itself, which also specifies that sales of only Fiat-branded cars (Fiat 500, 500L and 500X) are instead down 30% last month compared to June 2014. 

Vehicle registrations Chrysler instead they grew by 28%. best June since 2007 and the twelfth consecutive increase (from 24.026 to 30.809 cars; in the first six months of the year +21% to 170.248), those of Dodge fell by 14% (from 50.314 to 43.457 units; in January-June -16% to 257.142), those of Jeep grew by 25%, the best month ever and the 21st consecutive monthly increase (from 57.006 to 71.529 units; in the first six months +21% to 401.689) and those of Frame they rose by 2%, the best June since 2007 (from 35.262 to 36.078 units; in January-June +8% to 230.946). Overall, auto sales rose 17% to 46.258 units, while van sales rose 6% to 138.777.

Great result for Fiat Chrysler Automobiles also in France: from the data released by the association of French car manufacturers (Ccfa) we learn that in the last month sales of new cars across the Alps grew by 15% to 225.645 units. In this context, FCA has done much better than the market and all the other competitors, with a increase in registrations of 22,8%. In this case, FCA was mainly driven by the good performance of the Fiat brand. Better than the market did too PSA Peugeot Citroën which recorded the second best growth in sales: +16,4%. Renault's registrations also increased by 8,5%.
