The idea of revolutionizing trade union relations by making workers participate more directly in company affairs, even at the cost of messing up old liturgies both of the trade union organizations and of Confindustria, Sergio Marchionne always had. Now she wants to change the salary structure with a new salary policy.
For this Marchionne explained to the unions the FCA project (Fiat Chrysler Automobiles) to change the salary system for factory workers in Italy. The central point is to link wages to company results by having employees participate directly in the results of productivity, quality and profitability.
The project, which is part of FCA's 2015-2018 industrial plan, envisages a bonus system for workers linked to the results that can reach up to 20% of the current salary.
