FCA, here is the new contract: increases of 144,5 euros per month

Bentivogli: "Turnaround on salary, training and classification" - CNH and Ferrari contract also signed - Supplementary pension payments at 2,2%, annual efficiency bonus improved

It has been signed the agreement between FCA and the unions (with the exception of Fiom) on the renewal of the contract expired on 31 December and will be in force for the four-year period 2019-2022. The new contract will apply to the group's 66 Italian employees, with agreement also on CNH and Ferrari contracts.

“The renewal – explains FCA – provides for a increase in contractual wages of 2% per year and a strengthening of the annual bonus linked to productivity and efficiency objectives”.

Fim Cisl explains the details of wage increases in a note: %, more than double the expected inflation rate over the four-year period. If we consider the incidence of shifts, the amount further increases by about 1%”.

"For the other categories - continues the union - such as a worker assigned to the assembly department, of the 5th group 2nd level, the increase is 130,19 euros, while for the professional worker 179 euros". The first increases will take effect from 1 April.

Current also confirmed efficiency bonus which, however, in the near future will also consider the quarterly advance of the previous bonus linked to the 2014-2018 industrial plan in the percentage scale of the parameters. "This will make it possible to increase the annual bonus which in the last year has paid an average of 1.270 euros for FCA and 753 euros for CNH", underlines Fim Cisl.

Also expected to be a 29% increase in the company contribution to social security starting from 1 July 2019. The contribution paid by FCA will go from 1,7 to 2,2% of the basic wage with an annual benefit when fully operational for a worker of around 123 euros. The contribution for apprentices goes to 2,5% of the basic salary and for professionals to 2,5% of the salary useful for the TFR.

“It is a very significant response for the generations at work today – he comments Marco Bentivogli – in particular for the youngest, who need a supplementary pension reinforcement of what their future pension will be. Even on supplementary healthcare, health insurance coverage for workers and their families is being strengthened and improved, reducing the cost of the member's contribution and increasing that paid by the company”.

In detail, the cost for a worker will be 40 euros per year (about 3,3 euros per month) and 120 euros per year for a professional (10 euros per month). The company will pay more for each employee, in addition to 30 euros for basic coverage, 1 euros for AC146 workers and clerical workers and 2 euros for AC516 professionals.

We have created the conditions to disseminate and extend the training courses to all employees and strengthened the right to study, bringing to 40 paid hours for each year of the degree course or professional courses.
