FCA and CNHI: payroll increases in July

For the more than 86 workers, this is the second installment of the profitability element linked to the 2014-2018 plan - also the arrears on the 2015 bonus for former temporary workers.

FCA and CNHI: payroll increases in July

"In the pay packet delivered yesterday to the over 86 workers of FCA and CNHI, they will find the second installment of the profitability element connected to the 2014-2018 plan", equal to approximately 82,50 euros. This was stated by the Fim-Cisl national secretary, Ferdinando Uliano. The remuneration elements, both profitability and plant efficiency, were defined with a trade union agreement last year, after more than nine months of negotiations, and made it possible to disburse an average of around 2015 euros for FCA employees in 1.320,00 and for Cnhi 1.155,00 euros.

For the approximately 3 former temporary agency workers, stabilized during 2015, with permanent contracts, the pay in July will be even heavier, because they will receive a portion of the 2015 bonus in proportion to the months worked on temporary agency contracts. According to Uliano, "it is an important result like Fim-Cisl: thanks to the agreement signed on 13 June 2016 we have defined the procedures for recognizing the right to the share of the 2015 bonus, which initially had not been recognized by the leasing companies".

The additional 2015 bonus quota in the July salary for ex-administrated workers - explains the trade unionist again - varies according to the duration of the administration period and the results of the individual establishments and on average ranges from 320 euros to 700 euros.

“We are reaping the fruits of our trade union action in the FCA and Cnhi group – continues Uliano – we have brought investments, saved the factories, increased employment and then negotiated and distributed wages to the workers. With the departure of the Alfa Romeo Giulia, the SUV Maserati Levante and the other models, which are already in the pipeline for the next few months, we hope to reabsorb the last workers still involved in the social safety nets also for Cassino, Mirafiori and Pomigliano".

As for the situation in the Italian factories of the FCA Group and CNHI, "it has changed profoundly today: if Prime Minister Renzi can boast some positive results for the country in the automotive sector and therefore in the industrial sector and in the economy, he can do so because this the union has spent itself with agreements, often criticized by bad politics, committing the managing director Marchionne to continue investing in our country”, concluded Uliano.
