FCA and CNH, new contract signed with salaries linked to goals

After months and months of negotiations, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles and Cnh Industrial signed the renewal of the contract for the 85 employees of the two Italian groups with Fim-Cisl, Uilm-Uil, Fismic, Ugl and the Fiat Executives and Managers Association, definitively putting the old classification dating back to the seventies into the attic. Fiom remained out.

The new contract it will be valid for four years, from 2015 to 2018, and includes many interesting innovations, among which stands out "an innovative remuneration system based on the achievement of efficiency and profitability objectives". In other words, if the employees achieve the objectives set by the company, they will receive disbursements between 7.000 and 10.700 euros during the entire period of validity of the contract.

Another change envisaged by the agreement reached today concerns shift work, which will become a continuous cycle with 20 weekly shifts, on the model already applied in the Melfi plant. An experimental classification of eight to three levels is then envisaged for new hires.

Speaking of the delicate topic of labor Relations, the pact establishes the establishment of a unitary body of union representatives in the individual production units which will be the only interlocutor with the company at the plant level and will express itself exclusively with an absolute majority of its members.
