Fiat Chrysler Automobiles closed 2014 in the United States with a 16% increase in sales to 2,1 million vehicles. This is what emerges from the data released today by the company.

In December alone, the former Chrysler sold 193.261 vehicles in the US market, up 20% from the same month in 2013. best December since 2004 and highest level since 2006, but below analysts' expectations, which converged on sales of 196.500.

Sales of the Fiat brand in the United States, on the other hand, climbed 1% last month, setting a record for the month of December. The Fiat 500L was the driving force, with registrations rising by 4%, marking the best sales month since its launch in June 2013. In 2014, sales of the Fiat brand increased by 7% compared to 2013, recording the best year since the brand's return to the American market in 2011.
