FCA: another thousand hires in Italy by 2015

The Group's Chief Operating Officer Alfredo Altavilla announces the new hires in the Italian plants, again within the framework of the Jobs Act - Six hundred new workers will be hired in Melfi, to respond to the requests of 500X and Renegade, the others among Atessa, Verrone, Cassino, Termoli and one hundred.

fca will hire others a thousand workers by the end of the year, even if the new jobs could reach up to 1.100. The announcement was made by the Chief Operating Officer of the Alfredo Altavilla group, during a meeting with the metalworkers' unions who signed the contract at the Industrial Union of Turin.

The recruitments announced today add up at 1.550 already operational in the Melfi plant (where 500X and Renegade are produced), which, moreover, will be transformed into permanent jobs starting from the month of July, according to the contracts with increasing protections envisaged by the Jobs Act.

New hires also fall under the framework of the Jobs Act and will be divided into the various Italian FCA plants: 600 new workers will be hired in Melfi (of which 250 as early as June), 200 at the Atessa della Sevel plant, 170 in Verrone, 50 in Cassino, 50 in Termoli and 30 in Cento (Ferrara).
