FCA: accuses US dealers unfounded

Fiat Chrysler has learned that a US dealership is suing its subsidiary FCA US for offering it financial incentives to tamper with sales figures, carrying some deals in one month and deleting them the next. The group communicates it in a note.

Although the writ of summons has not yet been served on FCA Us, "the company is convinced that the lawsuit is unfounded and was brought by the dealer's internal lawyer at the very time when FCA Us was discussing with the dealer's group the need the latter complied with its commitments under some of the concession contracts”.

The FCA note concludes by underlining that "the company has full confidence in the integrity of its business processes and its relationships with the network and intends to defend the case vigorously".
