FCA, agreement with the unions: the reopening will take place like this

Sanitize the factories and reopen them as soon as the government gives the go-ahead: this is the meaning of an important agreement that FCA and the metalworkers' unions signed yesterday. This time there is also the signing of Fiom-Cgil and it is not a trivial novelty.

The agreement that puts health first, as FCA president John Elkann anticipated in his recent letter to shareholders, sets the guidelines that will guide the reopening of the automotive group's factories. It is an agreement that is based on two phases: the first is to prepare for the reopening of the factories and the second is that of the resumption of work when the health emergency is not yet completely over.

FCA will notify employees with an app about all the safety regulations and the factories will be sanitized before the resumption of work, which will take place while maintaining the correct safety distance required by the health authorities. Among the experts consulted by the company there is also the well-known virologist Roberto Burioni.

Each employee will receive a kit with two masks and a pair of gloves for each working day and a pair of glasses per month and at the entrance all fever will be measured with laser equipment similar to those found in airports: those over 37,5 of fever will not be able to enter the factory or offices. Work from home will be encouraged and mobility between departments will be eliminated.

Fim-Cisl, Fiom-Cgil and Uilm have expressed full satisfaction with the agreement that acts as a pioneer in the factory for the resumption of work.
