Fastweb: here is the 28-day rate, costs are going up

After Tim it's up to Fastweb, the last operator left on the market to offer ADSL and telephone fees with a monthly payment. Numbers in hand, at Fastweb they did some math and decided to reformulate the offers, switching to the now famous pricing every 4 weeks.

The reason is obvious, in doing so, users will pay an extra fee during the year, thus ensuring the company greater earnings.

A change now considered inevitable after the 28-day rates applied by the main competitors, from Vodafone to Infostrada, via Tim. The costs of the plans remain unchanged, but given that each year has 52 weeks, the new pricing will still cause an increase, bringing the number of annual renewals from 12 to 13.

Fastweb has already communicated the news to its customers, letting it be known that: «Pursuant to art. 70 paragraph 4 of Legislative Decree 1 August 2003 n. 259 and of the General Contract Conditions, we inform you that, in view of the evolution of market conditions to continue to guarantee a competitive and complete service, starting from May 1st services and promotions active on a monthly basis will be renewed every 4 weeks» .

It should be emphasized that the change will come from 1 May for old customers, who will have the option of withdrawing from the contract or switching to another operator without penalties or deactivation costs within 13 days of notification, while those who activate one of the offers today Fastweb will already be subject to the new pricing.
