The contraindications and dosage, from now on, can be checked on the Aifa website, the Italian drug agency. In the site's database there are already 8 leaflets that provide information on over 66 authorized packs of medicines.
The issue isn't just about who lost the box with its instructions. In reality, it often happens that the aforementioned leaflets need to be updated. There are around 2 corrections every year. A frenetic pace that can only be managed online.
“The database – explains the Agency – is configured as the only official and authoritative database on medicines in Italy. Now we are studying an app to allow consultation also from the smartphone". On the site you can search for the drug by trade name, active ingredient and manufacturer. In addition to the leaflet, there is a personal data sheet with date of marketing, authorization status (it may have been suspended in the meantime) and list of available packs.
