Falck Renewables, through the subsidiary Eolica Petralia, concluded the debt redefinition operation of Petralia Sottana wind farm.
The conclusion of the operation came thanks to the signing of the refinancing of 24 million euros operated by Ubi Banca, Banca Popolare dell'Emilia Romagna and Banca Popolare di Milano, with equal shares.
The banks have signed up for the refinancing on the basis of a 12,5-year project finance agreement. The transaction - reads a note - made it possible to improve the financial leverage of the project and to reduce the costs of financing the project by more than 3% on an annual basis: this will lead to a significant improvement in the profitability of the shareholder and significant savings in terms of financial charges since 2015 and for the entire duration of the loan.
